"As a doctor of prevention, I have developed a passion for improving patient health and well-being through balanced nutrition and lifestyle changes. My main focus for each patient is to assess and treat imbalances in the body and restore them to optimal function. The human body functions as an orchestrated network of interconnected systems. Each individual is wired differently, and therefore should be treated on an individual basis regardless of their diagnosis. A treatment plan that works for one person does not always work for another.  We, together as a team, will uncover these imbalances by lab work and other diagnostic tools and devise a treatment plan that will work for you!"

Many of us live our lives without ever giving it a second thought. Sometimes we don’t truly appreciate what we have until we start to lose it. Today, 10 million Americans are either blind or facing blindness from macular degeneration. It is the most common cause of blindness in North America.

Doctors call the early stages of macular degeneration “low vision.” This means that we perceive less and less of what is in our visual field. It may start as difficulty reading small print, but as “low vision” progresses it may become hard to read all together. At first, the glare from headlights may make driving challenging, soon night driving can become impossible. In time the faces of the people you love may become indistinguishable.

Vision loss is an epidemic. With the growing number of Baby Boomers turning 55 every year, the diagnosis of macular degeneration is exploding. So what can you do? What strategies will help you keep your precious eyesight? |Read More|
